     Sir John Duntze, 1st Bt. was the son of John Duntze and Elizabeth Hawker.³ He married Frances Lewis, daughter of Samuel Lewis.¹ He died on 5 February 1795.¹
     He lived at Tiverton, Devon, England^G.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Tiverton in 1768.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Duntze, of Tiverton, co. Devon [Great Britain] on 8 November 1774.¹

     Frances Lewis was the daughter of Samuel Lewis.² She married Sir John Duntze, 1st Bt., son of John Duntze and Elizabeth Hawker.¹ She died on 31 March 1801.¹
     Her married name became Duntze.

     Sir John Duntze, 2nd Bt. was the son of Sir John Duntze, 1st Bt. and Frances Lewis.² He married, firstly, Dorothy Carew, daughter of Sir Thomas Carew, 6th Bt. and Jane Smallwood, on 5 June 1804.¹ He married, secondly, Elizabeth Carew, daughter of Sir Thomas Carew, 6th Bt. and Jane Smallwood, in 1808.¹ He died on 21 June 1830.¹
     He was Receiver-General of land and assessed taxes for Devon.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Duntze, of Tiverton, co. Devon [G.B., 1774] on 5 February 1795.¹

     Dorothy Carew was the daughter of Sir Thomas Carew, 6th Bt. and Jane Smallwood.² She married Sir John Duntze, 2nd Bt., son of Sir John Duntze, 1st Bt. and Frances Lewis, on 5 June 1804.¹ She died on 4 November 1806.¹
     From 5 June 1804, her married name became Duntze.

     Sir John Lewis Duntze, 3rd Bt. was born on 16 August 1809.¹ He was the son of Sir John Duntze, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Carew.² He married Frances Elizabeth Coles, daughter of Reverend James Coles, on 15 March 1834.¹ He died on 7 September 1884 at age 75, without issue.¹
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Duntze, of Tiverton, co. Devon [G.B., 1774] on 21 June 1830.¹

     Reverend James Coles was the Rector at Michaelstone, Monmouthshire, Wales^G.¹

     Frances Elizabeth Coles was the daughter of Reverend James Coles.² She married Sir John Lewis Duntze, 3rd Bt., son of Sir John Duntze, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Carew, on 15 March 1834.¹ She died on 23 November 1892.¹
     From 15 March 1834, her married name became Duntze.

     James Nicholas Duntze was the son of Sir John Duntze, 1st Bt. and Frances Lewis.² He married Jane Harriot Cockburn, daughter of Sir James Cockburn of that Ilk, 5th Bt. and Laetitia Little, on 3 June 1794.¹ He died on 22 September 1846.¹
     He was Paymaster-General to the Forces in Sicily.¹
