Sir John Duntze, 1st Bt.1 

Sir John Duntze, 1st Bt. was the son of John Duntze and Elizabeth Hawker.3 He married Frances Lewis, daughter of Samuel Lewis.1 He died on 5 February 1795.1
He lived at Tiverton, Devon, EnglandG.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Tiverton in 1768.1 He was created 1st Baronet Duntze, of Tiverton, co. Devon [Great Britain] on 8 November 1774.1

He was Receiver-General of land and assessed taxes for Devon.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Duntze, of Tiverton, co. Devon [G.B., 1774] on 5 February 1795.1
