     He fought in the Battle of Tellicherry, Madras.¹ He was Officer in the Honourable East India Company Service.¹

     James Dundas was baptised on 6 March 1678.² He was the son of George Dundas of Kincavel and Helen Cooper.³ He died, unmarried.²

     Walter Dundas is the son of Sir Walter Dundas, 18th of Dundas and Anne Monteith.²
     He settled in Ireland.¹ He was ancestor of the Dundas of Magdalens.¹

     Alexander Dundas is the son of Sir Walter Dundas, 18th of Dundas and Anne Monteith.²

     Hugh Dundas is the son of Sir Walter Dundas, 18th of Dundas and Anne Monteith.²

     Marian Dundas is the daughter of Sir Walter Dundas, 18th of Dundas and Anne Monteith.² She married Sir Bryce Blair of that Ilk, son of Bryce Blair of that Ilk and Annabell Wallace, in 1618.^1,3
     From 1618, her married name became Blair.

     Sir Bryce Blair of that Ilk was the son of Bryce Blair of that Ilk and Annabell Wallace.² He married Marian Dundas, daughter of Sir Walter Dundas, 18th of Dundas and Anne Monteith, in 1618.^1,2 He died in July 1639.²

     Sir Alexander Hamilton, 7th of Innerwick was the son of James Hamilton, 6th of Innerwick and Helen Home.² He married Margaret Home.² He died after 13 May 1568.²

     Elizabeth Hamilton is the daughter of Alexander Hamilton of Innerwick, younger and Lady Elizabeth Kerr.^2,1,3 She married George Dundas of Dundas, son of Sir Walter Dundas, 18th of Dundas and Anne Monteith.¹
     Her married name became Dundas.

     Mary (?) married Robert d‘Ufford.¹ She married William de Say.¹
     Her married name became d’Ufford.¹
