William Henry George Dunbar of Kilconzie1 
He fought in the First World War.1 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)1 He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)1 He was branch manager of the National Provident Bank.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Honorary Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Artillery.1 In 1968 he was legitimated with his younger brother under the Legitimation Act (Scotland), including as regards remainder to the baronetcy.1 He wrote the book Dunbars’ 1000 Years.1 In 1984 he unsuccessfully claimed the baronetcy Dunbar of Mochrum.1
