     Robert Fergusson Franks was born on 5 June 1887.¹ He was the son of Sir John Hamilton Franks and Catherine Lumsden.^2,1 He married Maude Aileen Quinn, daughter of Dr. William David Quinn, on 11 March 1914.¹ He died on 28 December 1952 at age 65.¹
     He was educated at Armagh High School, Armagh, County Armagh, Ireland^G.¹ He was an electrical engineer.¹ He graduated from Edinburgh University, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G, with a Diploma of EI Engineering.¹

     John Fergusson Franks was born on 24 December 1914.¹ He was the son of Robert Fergusson Franks and Maude Aileen Quinn.^2,1 He married Dorothy May Cousins, daughter of William Leopold Cousins, on 20 May 1939.¹
     He was an electrical engineer.¹ He lived in 1976 at Harare, Zimbabwe^G.¹

     William Leopold Cousins lived at Havant, Hampshire, England^G.¹

     Dorothy May Cousins is the daughter of William Leopold Cousins.² She married John Fergusson Franks, son of Robert Fergusson Franks and Maude Aileen Quinn, on 20 May 1939.¹
     From 20 May 1939, her married name became Franks.

     Robin William Fergusson Franks was born on 4 November 1942.¹ He is the son of John Fergusson Franks and Dorothy May Cousins.² He married Vivien Edith Landells, daughter of Kenneth Edward Landells, on 28 August 1965.¹

     Vivien Edith Landells is the daughter of Kenneth Edward Landells.² She married Robin William Fergusson Franks, son of John Fergusson Franks and Dorothy May Cousins, on 28 August 1965.¹
     From 28 August 1965, her married name became Franks.

     John Kendall Franks was born on 16 February 1970.¹ He is the son of Robin William Fergusson Franks and Vivien Edith Landells.²
