     Frances Maria Watkins was the daughter of Venerable Henry Watkins.² She married Maj.-Gen. Sir John Fitzmaurice, son of John Fitzmaurice and Mary Bourke, on 3 November 1824.¹ She died on 9 June 1877.¹
     From 3 November 1824, her married name became Fitzmaurice.¹

     Maurice Henry Fitzmaurice was born on 9 June 1833.¹ He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Sir John Fitzmaurice and Frances Maria Watkins.² He died on 6 March 1868 at age 34, unmarried.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain and Adjutant in the 11th Brigade Royal Artillery.¹ He fought in the Indian Mutiny between 1857 and 1858.¹

     John Gerald Fitzmaurice was born on 21 June 1837.¹ He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Sir John Fitzmaurice and Frances Maria Watkins.² He married Florence Augusta Marian Boyrenson, daughter of Thomas Adolphus Boyrenson, on 15 July 1869.¹ He died on 17 February 1917 at age 79.¹
     He was admitted to Inner Temple entitled to practise as a Barrister-at-Law.¹ He was HM Chief Inspector of Schools.¹

     Thomas Adolphus Boyrenson was in the Honourable East India Company Service.¹

     Florence Augusta Marian Boyrenson was the daughter of Thomas Adolphus Boyrenson.² She married John Gerald Fitzmaurice, son of Maj.-Gen. Sir John Fitzmaurice and Frances Maria Watkins, on 15 July 1869.¹ She died on 4 June 1927.¹
     She gained the rank of in the Bombay Cavalry.¹ From 15 July 1869, her married name became Fitzmaurice.

     Vice-Admiral Sir Maurice Swynfen Fitzmaurice was born on 12 August 1870.¹ He was the son of John Gerald Fitzmaurice and Florence Augusta Marian Boyrenson.² He married Mabel Gertrude Gray, daughter of Samuel William Gray, on 13 October 1896.¹ He died on 23 January 1927 at age 56.¹
     He fought in the River Gambia Campaign in 1894, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He fought in the East African Campaign in 1898, where he was mentioned in despatches adn was wounded.¹ He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1901.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He was Captain of the H.M.S. Triumph in 1915 at Gallipoli.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1916.¹ He was awarded the Order of Sacred Treasure of Japan in 1917 2nd Class.¹ He was awarded the Royal Order of the Redeemer of Greece.¹ He was awarded the Greek War Cross.¹ He was awarded the Officer, Legion d’Honneur.¹ He was Captain of the H.M.S. Dreadnought in 1918.¹ He was Director of Naval Intelligence between 1921 and 1924.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1922.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.) in 1925.¹ He gained the rank of Vice-Admiral in 1926.¹

     Samuel William Gray lived at Sydney, New South Wales, Australia^G.¹

     Mabel Gertrude Gray was the daughter of Samuel William Gray.² She married Vice-Admiral Sir Maurice Swynfen Fitzmaurice, son of John Gerald Fitzmaurice and Florence Augusta Marian Boyrenson, on 13 October 1896.¹ She died on 26 November 1943.¹
     From 13 October 1896, her married name became Fitzmaurice.

     Sir Gerald Gray Fitzmaurice was born on 24 October 1901.¹ He is the son of Vice-Admiral Sir Maurice Swynfen Fitzmaurice and Mabel Gertrude Gray.² He married Alice Evelina Alexandra Sandberg, daughter of Christer Peter Sandberg, on 15 September 1933.¹
