     Jane Margaret Dobbs was born on 20 January 1867 at Mysore, Kamakata, India.2 She was the daughter of Robert Cathcart Dobbs and Harriet Adelaide Trail.3 She married Major Albert Pearse, son of Colonel Charles John Pearse and Harriet Emma Pelly, in September 1905 at Rathdown, County Dublin, Ireland.1,2 She died on 25 March 1937 at age 70 at 165 Richmond Road, Bournemouth, Hampshire, England.2
     From September 1905, her married name became Pearse.1
