     Caroline Louisa Saunders was the daughter of Very Rev. Augustus Page Saunders.¹ She married Reverend Frederick Manners Stopford, son of Lt.-Col. Hon. Edward Stopford and Horatia Charlotte Lockwood, on 7 November 1878.¹ She died on 19 March 1924.¹
     Her married name became Stopford.

     Very Rev. Augustus Page Saunders graduated with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.)¹ He held the office of Dean of Peterborough.¹

     Captain Walter James Stopford was born on 4 July 1833.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Hon. Edward Stopford and Horatia Charlotte Lockwood.¹ He married Annette Jane Stopford, daughter of Vice-Admiral Hon. Sir Montagu Stopford and Cordelia Winifreda Whitmore, on 7 October 1863.¹ He died on 14 June 1908 at age 74.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 52nd Light Infantry.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)¹ He was Inspector-General of the Military prison Department.¹ He held the office of Gentleman Usher to HM Queen Victoria.¹ He was Commissioner of Prisons.¹ He held the office of Gentleman Usher to HM King Edward VII.¹

     Annette Jane Stopford was the daughter of Vice-Admiral Hon. Sir Montagu Stopford and Cordelia Winifreda Whitmore.¹ She married Captain Walter James Stopford, son of Lt.-Col. Hon. Edward Stopford and Horatia Charlotte Lockwood, on 7 October 1863.¹ She died on 17 December 1921.¹

     Horatia Charlotte Frances Stopford was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Hon. Edward Stopford and Horatia Charlotte Lockwood.¹ She died on 6 February 1920.¹
     She was appointed Lady, Royal Order of Victoria and Albert (V.A.)¹ She held the office of Maid of Honour to HM Queen Victoria between 1857 and 1877.¹ She held the office of Bedchamber Women-in-Ordinary to HM Queen Victoria between 1877 and 1901.¹

     Algernon Edward Stopford was born on 27 June 1858.¹ He was the son of Reverend Frederick Manners Stopford and Florence Augusta Saunders.¹ He married Emma Lucy Saunders, daughter of Arthur Francis William Saunders, on 23 August 1887.¹ He died on 14 September 1911 at age 53.¹

     Emma Lucy Saunders was the daughter of Arthur Francis William Saunders.¹ She married Algernon Edward Stopford, son of Reverend Frederick Manners Stopford and Florence Augusta Saunders, on 23 August 1887.¹ She died in 1941.¹
     Her married name became Stopford.

     Reverend Grosvenor Francis Stopford was born on 15 December 1889.¹ He was the son of Algernon Edward Stopford and Emma Lucy Saunders.¹ He married Rachel Norman Martin, daughter of Reverend Anthony Reginald Martin, on 8 October 1917.¹ He died on 1 March 1949 at age 59, without issue.¹
     He fought in the First World War between 1915 and 1920, where he was wounded.¹ He was Deputy Assistant Chaplain-General between 1940 and 1944.¹ He was the Rector between 1945 and 1949 at Fretherne, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹
