     Janet Mary Darling was born on 9 October 1943.¹ She is the daughter of Reverend Charles Brian Auchinleck Darling and Rachel Middleton Lankester Paul.² She married Lt.-Cdr. David Anthony Knowles, son of Eric Graham Knowles, on 5 October 1968.¹
     She graduated from St. Thomas’ Hospital Medical School, London, England^G, with a Bachelor of Medicine (M.B.)¹ She was registered as a Licentiate, Royal College of Physicians, London (L.R.C.P.) in 1966.¹ She graduated from St. Thomas’ Hospital Medical School, London, England^G, in 1966 with a Bachelor of Surgery (B.S.)¹ She was registered as a Member, Royal College of Surgeons (M.R.C.S.)¹ From 5 October 1968, her married name became Knowles. She graduated in 1969 with a Diploma of Obstretics.¹

     Eric Graham Knowles lived at Conway, Caernarvonshire, Wales^G.¹

     Lt.-Cdr. David Anthony Knowles is the son of Eric Graham Knowles.² He married Janet Mary Darling, daughter of Reverend Charles Brian Auchinleck Darling and Rachel Middleton Lankester Paul, on 5 October 1968.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Navy.¹ He lived in 1976 at Greemwood, Western Road, Ivybridge, Devon, England^G.¹

     Daniel Nicholas Knowles was born on 25 September 1970.¹ He is the son of Lt.-Cdr. David Anthony Knowles and Janet Mary Darling.²

     Mirabel Rachel Knowles was born on 19 January 1972.¹ She is the daughter of Lt.-Cdr. David Anthony Knowles and Janet Mary Darling.²

     Humphrey Auchinleck Darling was born on 27 May 1907.¹ He was the son of Venerable James George Reginald Darling and Norah Lillian Loxdale Auchinleck.² He married Judith Mooney, daughter of Joseph Mooney, on 15 October 1934.¹ He died on 27 April 1939 at age 31, without issue.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Leicestershire Regiment, from which he was invalided.¹

     Joseph Mooney lived at Cabra Lodge, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G.¹

     Judith Mooney was the daughter of Joseph Mooney.² She married Humphrey Auchinleck Darling, son of Venerable James George Reginald Darling and Norah Lillian Loxdale Auchinleck, on 15 October 1934.¹ She died circa 1970.¹
     From 15 October 1934, her married name became Darling.

     Michael George Auchinleck Darling was born on 31 August 1910.¹ He was the son of Venerable James George Reginald Darling and Norah Lillian Loxdale Auchinleck.² He died on 8 May 1928 at age 17.¹
