     Pierce Desmond Crosbie was born on 14 July 1911.¹ He is the son of Surg-Rear-Admiral Pierse Leslie Crosbie and Winifred Crosbie.² He married Elizabeth Gwendoline Crew, daughter of Cecil Crew, on 10 November 1944.¹
     He was educated at Epsom College, Epsom, Surrey, England^G.¹ He was educated at St. Mary’s Hospital, Praed Street, Paddington, London, England^G.¹ He was registered as a Licentiate, Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (L.R.C.P.I.)¹ He gained the rank of Surgeon-Lieutenant in the Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve.¹ He was registered as a Licentiate, Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland (L.R.C.S.I.) in 1941.¹ He was registered as a Member, Royal College of Surgeons (M.R.C.S.)¹ He was registered as a Licentiate, Royal College of Physicians, London (L.R.C.P.) in 1946.¹ He lived in 1976 at 1711 Fourth Street SW, Calgary, Alberta, Canada^G.¹

     Cecil Crew was with the Colonial Service.¹

     Elizabeth Gwendoline Crew is the daughter of Cecil Crew.² She married Pierce Desmond Crosbie, son of Surg-Rear-Admiral Pierse Leslie Crosbie and Winifred Crosbie, on 10 November 1944.¹
     From 10 November 1944, her married name became Crosbie.

     Alexandra Crosbie is the daughter of Pierce Desmond Crosbie and Elizabeth Gwendoline Crew.²

     Nicola Crosbie is the daughter of Pierce Desmond Crosbie and Elizabeth Gwendoline Crew.²

     G/Capt. John Leslie Crosbie was born on 31 July 1914.¹ He was the son of Surg-Rear-Admiral Pierse Leslie Crosbie and Winifred Crosbie.² He married Phyllis Annette Etches, daughter of Major Charles Edward Etches, on 26 December 1939.¹ He died on 10 April 2006 at age 91 at Ipswich, Suffolk, England.³
     He was educated at Epsom College, Epsom, Surrey, England^G.¹ He was educated at Royal Air Force College, Cranwell, Lincolnshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Group Captain in the Royal Air Force.¹ He fought in the Second World War, with Coastal Command.¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)¹

     Gwendoline Edith Whetstone was born in 1895 at Leicester, Leicestershire, England.¹ She was the daughter of Walter Whetstone and Edith Caroline Beckingham.¹
