     Lt.-Col. John Talbot Darnley Talbot-Crosbie was born on 1 May 1843.¹ He was the son of William Talbot Talbot-Crosbie and Susan Anne Burrell.^2,1 He married Margaret Farquharson, daughter of Major Henry Farquharson, on 30 October 1884.¹ He died on 2 November 1899 at age 56, without issue.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the King’s Royal Rifle Corps.¹ He was Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Kerry.¹ He lived at Ardfert Abbey, County Kerry, Ireland^G.¹

     Major Henry Farquharson lived at Langton St. Leonards, Blandford, Dorset, England^G.¹

     Margaret Farquharson was the daughter of Major Henry Farquharson.² She married, firstly, Captain John Paynter before 1884.¹ She married, secondly, Lt.-Col. John Talbot Darnley Talbot-Crosbie, son of William Talbot Talbot-Crosbie and Susan Anne Burrell, on 30 October 1884.¹ She died on 2 December 1891.¹
     From before 1884, her married name became Paynter.¹ From 30 October 1884, her married name became Talbot-Crosbie.

     Lindsey Bertie Talbot-Crosbie was born on 11 August 1844.¹ He was the son of William Talbot Talbot-Crosbie and Susan Anne Burrell.^2,1 He married Anne Crosbie Coke, daughter of Colonel Edward Thomas Coke and Diana Talbot-Crosbie, on 29 March 1871.¹ He died on 30 November 1913 at age 69.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Navy.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Kerry.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Kerry.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of County Kerry in 1903.¹ He lived at Ardfert Abbey, County Kerry, Ireland^G.¹

     Marianne McCausland is the daughter of Marcus McCausland.¹ She married John Talbot, son of Reverend John Talbot-Crosbie and Jane Lloyd, on 2 January 1845.¹ She and John Talbot were divorced on 29 July 1856 by Act of Parliament.¹
     From 2 January 1845, her married name became Talbot.¹

     Anne Crosbie Coke was the daughter of Colonel Edward Thomas Coke and Diana Talbot-Crosbie.^2,3 She married Lindsey Bertie Talbot-Crosbie, son of William Talbot Talbot-Crosbie and Susan Anne Burrell, on 29 March 1871.¹ She died on 17 April 1928.¹
     From 29 March 1871, her married name became Talbot-Crosbie.¹
