Jeanne de Surgères, vicomtesse de Châtellerault, dame de Lillebonne was born in 1235.2 She was the daughter of Aimey de Châtellérault, Vicomte de Châtellérault and Agathe de Dammartin.1 She married Jean II ‘le Preux’ d‘Harcourt, sire d’Harcourt, seigneur de Brionne, de Cailleville, de Beauficel et d’Angoville, son of Jean I ‘le Preud Homme’ d‘Harcourt sire d’Harcourt, seigneur d’Elbeuf, de Cailleville, de Beauficel, de Blouville, de Potigny, de Nehou et de Saint-Sauveur-le-Vicomte and Alix de Beaumont-Gâtinais, on 20 May 1280.1,2 She died on 16 May 1315.2
