(Liberal) for Chelsea between 1868 and 1886.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Dilke, of Sloane Street, Chelsea [U.K., 1862] on 11 May 1869.2 He held the office of Parliamentary Under-Secretary, Foreign Affairs between 1880 and 1882.1 He and Mary Martha Dalrymple were associated.3 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1882.1 He held the office of President of the Local Government Board between 1882 and 1885.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)
