     Fanny Theodora Pye-Smith was the daughter of Ebenezer Pye-Smith.² She married Sir Thomas Lane Devitt, 1st Bt., son of Thomas Henry Devitt and Margaret Lane, on 26 February 1863.¹ She died on 5 February 1917.¹
     From 26 February 1863, her married name became Devitt.

     Arthur Devitt was born on 29 December 1867.¹ He was the son of Sir Thomas Lane Devitt, 1st Bt. and Fanny Theodora Pye-Smith.² He married Florence Emmeline Gordon, daughter of William Forbes Gordon, on 8 December 1897.¹ He died on 16 June 1921 at age 53.¹

     Florence Emmeline Gordon was the daughter of William Forbes Gordon.¹ She married, firstly, Arthur Devitt, son of Sir Thomas Lane Devitt, 1st Bt. and Fanny Theodora Pye-Smith, on 8 December 1897.¹ She married, secondly, Reverend Arthur Lloyd Phillips on 14 September 1932.¹ She died on 5 August 1951.¹
     From 8 December 1897, her married name became Devitt. From 14 September 1932, her married name became Phillips.¹

     Lt.-Col. Sir Thomas Gordon Devitt, 2nd Bt. was born on 27 December 1902.¹ He was the son of Arthur Devitt and Florence Emmeline Gordon.² He married, firstly, Joan Mary Freemantle, daughter of Charles Reginald Freemantle, on 21 June 1930.¹ He married, secondly, Lydia Mary Beloe, daughter of Edward Millgen Beloe, on 25 January 1937.¹ He and Lydia Mary Beloe were divorced in 1953.¹ He married, thirdly, Janet Lilian Ellis, daughter of Colonel Hugh Sidney Ellis, on 12 December 1953.¹ He and Joan Mary Freemantle were divorced in 1936.¹ He died on 23 December 1995 at age 92.¹
     He was educated at Sherborne School, Sherborne, Dorset, England^G.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Devitt, of Chelsea, in the County of London [U.K., 1916] on 8 December 1923.¹ He graduated from Corpus Christi College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1926 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He graduated from Corpus Christi College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1931 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was Lieutenant-Colonel.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He was Officer-in-Charge of the Raiding Support Regiment between 1940 and 1945.¹ He was awarded the Officer, Royal Order of the Phoenix of Greece with swords.¹ He was chairman of the Nautical College Pangbourne between 1948 and 1961.¹ He was Governor of Sherborne between 1967 and 1975.¹

     Joan Mary Freemantle is the daughter of Charles Reginald Freemantle.² She married Lt.-Col. Sir Thomas Gordon Devitt, 2nd Bt., son of Arthur Devitt and Florence Emmeline Gordon, on 21 June 1930.¹ She and Lt.-Col. Sir Thomas Gordon Devitt, 2nd Bt. were divorced in 1936.¹
     From 21 June 1930, her married name became Devitt.

     Georgina Jane Devitt was born on 6 October 1937.¹ She is the daughter of Lt.-Col. Sir Thomas Gordon Devitt, 2nd Bt. and Lydia Mary Beloe.² She married Hon. Nigel Geoffrey Parker, son of Hon. John Holford Parker and Hon. Marjory Katharine Elizabeth Alexandra St. Aubyn, on 23 April 1965.¹

     Robert Patrick Pease married Jacquetta Anne Devitt, daughter of Peter Kenneth Devitt and Eunice Stephanie Swan, in 1976.¹

     Hon. Nigel Geoffrey Parker was born on 18 November 1931.² He was the son of Hon. John Holford Parker and Hon. Marjory Katharine Elizabeth Alexandra St. Aubyn.² He married Georgina Jane Devitt, daughter of Lt.-Col. Sir Thomas Gordon Devitt, 2nd Bt. and Lydia Mary Beloe, on 23 April 1965.¹ He died on 7 March 2019 at age 87.³

     Colonel James Norman Dudley Lucas was born in 1933.² He was the son of Major Harold Norman Lucas and Clara Mildred Finch.^1,2 He married Stephanie Gordon Devitt, daughter of Lt.-Col. Sir Thomas Gordon Devitt, 2nd Bt. and Lydia Mary Beloe, on 7 January 1966.¹ He died on 1 December 2017.³
     Colonel James Norman Dudley Lucas usually went by his middle name of Dudley.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the Cameronians (Scottish Rifles) and Royal Scots.¹
