     Major Oswald de Trafford was born on 26 July 1885.¹ He was the son of Augustus Henry de Trafford and Gertrude Mary Walmesley.² He married Mary Vale, daughter of Henry Hartley Vale, on 23 April 1923.¹ He died on 9 August 1942 at age 57.¹
     He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the 2nd Battalion, South Staffordshire Regiment.¹

     Mary Vale is the daughter of Henry Hartley Vale.¹ She married, firstly, William Grahame-Jones before 1923.¹ She married, secondly, Major Oswald de Trafford, son of Augustus Henry de Trafford and Gertrude Mary Walmesley, on 23 April 1923.¹
     From before 1923, her married name became Grahame-Jones.¹ From 23 April 1923, her married name became de Trafford.

     Reverend Robert Ashton de Trafford was born on 27 January 1887.¹ He was the son of Augustus Henry de Trafford and Gertrude Mary Walmesley.² He died on 18 January 1969 at age 81.¹
     He was educated at Stonyhurst College, Blackburn, Lancashire, England.¹ He graduated from London University, London, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the OTC.¹ He was a Roman Catholic priest, Society of Jesuits.¹

     Edward Aloysius de Trafford was born on 13 January 1892.¹ He was the son of Augustus Henry de Trafford and Gertrude Mary Walmesley.² He died on 7 January 1960 at age 67, unmarried.¹
     He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the 3rd Battalion, South Staffordshire Regiment.¹ He was awarded the silver medal of Savoy.¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹

     Sir William de Montfort was born in 1375.¹ He was the son of Sir Baldwin de Montfort and Margaret de Clinton.¹ He married Margaret de Peche.¹
