     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the West Riding, Yorkshire.¹ He lived at Wood Hall, Yorkshire, England^G.¹

     Charles Johnstone-Scott was born on 30 October 1870.¹ He was the son of Henry Richard Johnstone-Scott and Cressida Elizabeth Selby-Lowndes.² He married Elizabeth Irvine Matheson-Warrack on 22 April 1907.¹ He died on 7 March 1948 at age 77.¹
     He fought in the Matabeleland Campaign in 1893.¹ He fought in the Rhodesia Campaign in 1896.¹ He fought in the Mashonaland Campaign in 1897.¹ He fought in the Boer War, where he was mentioned in despatches twice.¹ He fought in the First World War in 1915, in German South-West Africa.¹

     Valentine O’Conor Magan was born on 19 January 1912.¹ He was the son of Dr. Percy Tilson Magan and Lilian Eshleman.¹ He married Mildred Irma Sanford on 23 July 1937.¹

     Elizabeth Irvine Matheson-Warrack married Charles Johnstone-Scott, son of Henry Richard Johnstone-Scott and Cressida Elizabeth Selby-Lowndes, on 22 April 1907.¹ She died on 15 September 1957.¹
     She lived at Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland^G.¹ From 22 April 1907, her married name became Johnstone-Scott.¹

     Ronald Johnstone-Scott was born on 26 February 1911.¹ He was the son of Charles Johnstone-Scott and Elizabeth Irvine Matheson-Warrack.² He married Winifred Joan Peck, daughter of Edgar Reginald Peck, on 11 September 1937.¹ He died on 17 November 1967 at age 56.¹
     He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was with the Royal Air Force between 1934 and 1946.¹

     Edgar Reginald Peck lived at Selsey, Sussex, England^G.¹

     Winifred Joan Peck is the daughter of Edgar Reginald Peck.² She married Ronald Johnstone-Scott, son of Charles Johnstone-Scott and Elizabeth Irvine Matheson-Warrack, on 11 September 1937.¹
