     Andrew L’Estrange Brownlow was born on 22 January 1894.1 He was the son of William Claude Brabazon Brownlow and Janet Georgina Orme.1 He married Jean Kennedy Risk, daughter of James Risk, on 24 November 1934.1 He died on 9 December 1972 at age 78.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches three times.1 He was with the Imperial Police Force in Burma between 1921 and 1942.1
