     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England^G.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of officer in the Royal Irish Fusiliers.¹ He lived in 1976 at Glenconnor House, County Tipperary, Ireland^G.¹

     Olive Fitch Penniman was the daughter of Gardner Brewer Penniman.² She married Henry John Cleeve, son of Francis Journeaux Cleeve and Gladys Skellator Michie, on 4 February 1933.¹ She died in 1993.³
     From 4 February 1933, her married name became Cleeve.

     John Penniman Cleeve was born on 23 February 1937.¹ He is the son of Henry John Cleeve and Olive Fitch Penniman.² He married Felicity Sonja Findlay, daughter of Lt.-Col. Douglas Alexander Findlay, on 20 April 1963.¹
     He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant between 1955 and 1957 in the Irish Guards.¹ He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England^G.¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G, in 1962 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He was an insurance broker.¹ He lived in 1976 at 68 Vanbrugh Park, Blackheath, London, England^G.¹
