Sir Roger Mostyn, 1st Bt. 
He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1637.1 He held the office of Governor of Flint, as a Royalist during the Civil War.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Montgomeryshire from 1660 to 1661.1 He was appointed Knight on 5 June 1660.1 He was created 1st Baronet Mostyn, of Mostyn, co. Flint [England] on 3 August 1660.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Flintshire from 1665 to 1666.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Caernarvonshire from 1666 to 1667.1

Anne Trevor was the daughter of Sir John Trevor and Jane Mostyn.1,3 She married, firstly, Rt. Hon. Michael Hill, son of Rt. Hon. William Hill and Eleanor Boyle, in 1690.1 She married, secondly, Alan Brodrick, 1st Viscount Midleton of Midleton, son of Sir St. John Brodrick and Alice Clayton, on 1 December 1716.3 She died on 5 January 1747.3
From 1690, her married name became Hill. From 1 December 1716, her married name became Brodrick. Name quoted as Anne in Burke’s Peerage but as Jane in ‘The Deeds of Duddleston’ by Rev. F. Brighton.

Trevor Hill, 1st Viscount Hillsborough was born in 1693.3 He was the son of Rt. Hon. Michael Hill and Anne Trevor.1 He married Mary Rowe, daughter of Anthony Rowe.3 He died on 3 May 1742.3
He was created 1st Viscount Hillsborough, co. Down [Ireland] on 21 August 1717, with a special remainder to heirs of his father.3 He was created 1st Baron Hill of Kilwarlin, co. Down [Ireland] on 21 August 1717, with a special remainder to heirs of his father.3
