     Major Thomas Chatterton was the son of Thomas Chatterton and Catherine Carew.2 He married Charlotte Green, daughter of General Sir William Green, 1st Bt., on 8 December 1797.1 He died in 1836.1
     He gained the rank of Major in the British Army.1
