     He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of County Wicklow in 1877.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Wicklow.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Antrim.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Derry.¹ He lived at Cronroe, Ashford, County Wicklow, Ireland^G.¹

     Reverend Joshua Lacy-Bernard was the Rector at Powerscourt, County Wicklow, Ireland^G.¹

     Maria Clarke Lacy-Bernard was the daughter of Reverend Joshua Lacy-Bernard.² She married Julius Casement, son of Roger Casement and Margaret McQuilty, on 21 January 1863.¹ She died on 26 April 1918.¹
     From 21 January 1863, her married name became Casement.

     Roger Casement was born on 24 February 1864.¹ He was the son of Julius Casement and Maria Clarke Lacy-Bernard.² He married Catherine Isabelle Tottenham, daughter of Colonel Charles George Tottenham and Catherine Elizabeth Stapleton, on 30 August 1898.¹ He died on 21 December 1917 at age 53.¹
     He fought in the Boer War.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Wicklow.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Wicklow.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of County Wicklow in 1907.¹ He lived at Cronroe, Ashford, County Wicklow, Ireland^G.¹

     Colonel Charles George Tottenham was born on 11 April 1835.² He was the son of Charles Tottenham and Isabella Catherine Airey.² He married Catherine Elizabeth Stapleton, daughter of Rev. Hon. Sir Francis Jarvis Stapleton, 7th Bt. and Margaret Airey, on 12 January 1859.^3,4 He died on 23 April 1918 at age 83.³
