     Roderick Gavin Sholto Douglas was born on 24 June 1944.¹ He was the son of Peter Frederic Sholto Douglas and Ursula Rivers.¹ He married Pamela Jean Maggs, daughter of Basil Norman Maggs and Edna Charlotte Jones, on 17 July 1991 at Christchurch Borrowdale, Harare, Zimbabwe.² He died on 16 October 1995 at age 51.¹
     Roderick Gavin Sholto Douglas usually went by his middle name of Gavin.¹ He was educated at University College of Rhodesia and Nysaland, Harare, Zimbabwe^G.¹ He was educated at University College London, London, England.¹ He was Chief Archivist of the National Archives at Harare, Zimbabwe.¹

     Sara Douglas was born on 14 June 1947.¹ She is the daughter of Peter Frederic Sholto Douglas and Ursula Rivers.¹ She married Peter David Newbery in 1974.¹
     From 1974, her married name became Newbery.¹ She lived in 2003 at Giwonde, Centenary, Zimbabwe.¹

Ethel Georgiana Frances Somerset.¹ He married, firstly, Heather Joan MacLean, daughter of Alexander John Hew Maclean, 16th of Ardgour and Hon. Muriel Annette Burns, on 15 June 1946.¹ He married, secondly, Hester Kathleen Lyndon White, daughter of Maurice Lyndon White, in 1988.¹ He died on 19 July 1998 at age 82.¹
     He was educated at Bryanston School, Blandford, Dorset, England.¹

     Heather Joan MacLean was born on 22 January 1926.² She was the daughter of Alexander John Hew Maclean, 16th of Ardgour and Hon. Muriel Annette Burns.^1,2 She married Ian FitzRoy Sholto Douglas, son of Hon. William Sholto Douglas and Hon. Ethel Georgiana Frances Somerset, on 15 June 1946.¹ She died in 1985.²
     Her married name became Douglas. She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹

     Alexander John Hew Maclean, 16th of Ardgour was born in 1880.¹ He married Hon. Muriel Annette Burns, daughter of James Cleland Burns, 3rd Baron Inverclyde of Castle Wemyss and Charlotte Mary Emily Nugent-Dunbar, on 5 September 1918.¹ He died in 1930.¹

     William Hew Sholto Douglas was born on 5 April 1947.¹ He is the son of Ian FitzRoy Sholto Douglas and Heather Joan MacLean.¹ He married Frances Mary Riddle, daughter of Brigadier Robert William Riddle, in 1986.²
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England^G.² He gained the rank of Major in the 1st Battalion, Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders.¹ He was admitted to Royal Company of Archers.¹ He lived in 2003 at The Gables, Station Road, Balfron, Stirlingshire, Scotland.¹

     Elizabeth Heather Winifred Douglas was born on 6 October 1948.¹ She is the daughter of Ian FitzRoy Sholto Douglas and Heather Joan MacLean.¹ She married, firstly, Edward Inman, son of John Inman, on 3 April 1971.² She and Edward Inman were divorced in 1983.² She married, secondly, Paul William Alexander Brown in 1985.²
     From 3 April 1971, her married name became Inman.² From 1985, her married name became Brown.²

     Jane Charlotte Georgiana Douglas was born on 22 February 1950.¹ She is the daughter of Ian FitzRoy Sholto Douglas and Heather Joan MacLean.¹ She married Major Clive Reginald Brayshaw in 2000.¹
     From 2000, her married name became Brayshaw.¹ She lived in 2003 at Dryboch, Hill of Balmaclellan, Castle Douglas, Kirkcudbrightshire, Scotland.¹
