     Mary Jane Burdett was born in 1812.¹ She was the daughter of Arthur Burdett and Anna Ripley.² She married Lt.-Col. Robert Brookes in 1848.¹ She died on 29 July 1895.¹
     From 1848, her married name became Brookes.

     Lt.-Col. Robert Brookes married Mary Jane Burdett, daughter of Arthur Burdett and Anna Ripley, in 1848.¹ He died on 13 January 1849 at Chillianwallah, India^G, killed in action.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 24th Regiment.¹ He fought in the Sikh Wars in 1849.¹

     Edward John Collingwood married Anna Burdett, daughter of Arthur Burdett and Anna Ripley, on 23 August 1842.¹ He died on 20 February 1895.¹
     He lived at Churton House, Northumberland, England^G.¹ He lived at Lilburn Tower, Northumberland, England^G.¹

     Adelaide Louise Burdett was born in 1817.¹ She was the daughter of Arthur Burdett and Anna Ripley.² She married John Head Burdett, son of Reverend John Burdett and Margaret Anne Head, on 20 July 1842.¹ She died on 20 January 1905, without issue.²

     Arthur Hugo Florian de Burdet Burdett was born on 27 March 1863.¹ He was the son of Arthur Burdett and Grace Florinda Trench.^2,1 He married Henrietta Maude St. George, daughter of Robert St. George and Sophia Madelina Olivia Mahon, on 23 July 1884.³ He died on 4 December 1917 at age 54.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the 4th Battalion, Royal Dublin Fusiliers.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of King’s County in 1896.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for King’s County.¹ He lived at Ballymany, County Kildare, Ireland^G.¹ He lived at Coolfin, County Offaly, Ireland^G.¹

     Grace Sophia Burdett was born on 21 December 1885.¹ She was the daughter of Arthur Hugo Florian de Burdet Burdett and Henrietta Maude St. George.^2,1 She married, firstly, Maj.-Gen. Sir Gerald Farrell Boyd, son of Robert Boyd, on 9 January 1913.¹ She married, secondly, Colonel Frederick Evan Wood on 22 June 1934.¹ She died on 20 November 1954 at age 68.¹
     From 9 January 1913, her married name became Boyd. From 22 June 1934, her married name became Wood.¹

     Maj.-Gen. Sir Gerald Farrell Boyd was the son of Robert Boyd.² He married Grace Sophia Burdett, daughter of Arthur Hugo Florian de Burdet Burdett and Henrietta Maude St. George, on 9 January 1913.¹ He died on 12 April 1930.¹
     He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Conduct Medal (D.C.M.)¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.)¹ He had two sons.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)¹
