     John fitz Maurice, 8th Knight of Kerry is the son of Maurice fitz John, 7th Knight of Kerry and Joan (?)2
     He held the office of Canon of Ardfert.1 He was also known as Shane.1 He succeeded as the 8th Knight of Kerry.1 He held the office of Bishop of Ardfert on 20 November 1495.1 He supposedly had two younger sons.1
