     Sylvia Jeanette Kitching was born in 1920 at Warwick, Warwickshire, England.¹ She is the daughter of Lt.-Col. Charles Henry Kitching and Phyllis Dora Whitworth.¹ She married Captain Robert Vernon-Harcourt, son of Simon Evelyn Vernon-Harcourt and Dorothy Margaret Hudson, on 25 September 1948.²
     Her married name became Vernon-Harcourt.

     Lt.-Col. Charles Henry Kitching was born on 7 May 1871.¹ He married Phyllis Dora Whitworth in 1918.¹ He died on 2 February 1952 at age 80.¹

     William Arthur Price was the son of Reverend Bartholomew Price. He married Mabel Frances Vernon-Harcourt, daughter of Augustus George Vernon-Harcourt and Hon. Rachel Mary Bruce, on 28 December 1910.¹ He died on 13 May 1954.¹

     Reverend Bartholomew Price was Master at Pembroke College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.¹
