     Colonel Isaac Clark was born in 1748.¹ He married, firstly, Hannah Chittenden, daughter of Thomas Chittenden.¹ He married, secondly, Amy Fitch, daughter of Colonel Eleanor Fitch, in 1790.¹ He died in 1822.¹
     He lived at Castleton, Vermont, U.S.A.^G.

     William Anson was born in 1628.¹ He was the son of William Anson and Joan Whitehall.¹ He married Elizabeth Stafford, daughter of Thomas Stafford.¹
     He lived at Shugborough, Staffordshire, England^G.¹

     William Anson married Joan Whitehall, daughter of Richard Whitehall, on 30 December 1627 at Holy Trinity Church, Berkswich, Staffordshire, England.^1,2 He died before 7 October 1644.¹
     He purchased Manor of Shugborough, Staffordshire and Bolehall and Glascott, Warwickshire.¹ His last will was dated 10 May 1644.²

     Joan Whitehall is the daughter of Richard Whitehall.¹ She married William Anson on 30 December 1627 at Holy Trinity Church, Berkswich, Staffordshire, England.^1,2
     From 30 December 1627, her married name became Anson.¹
