     He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)² He was the Rector of the Union of Ballynahaglish, Cloherbrien and Annagh, County Kerry.² He lived at Churchill, County Kerry, Ireland^G.²

     Sophia Catherine McGillycuddy was the daughter of Daniel McGillycuddy and Sophia Denny.² She married Reverend Henry Denny, son of Sir Edward Denny, 3rd Bt. and Elizabeth Day, on 22 May 1834.¹ She died on 17 January 1890.¹
     From 22 May 1834, her married name became Denny.

     Reverend Edward Denny was born on 17 August 1835.¹ He was the son of Reverend Henry Denny and Sophia Catherine McGillycuddy.² He married Marion Georgina Lyster, daughter of Lyttelton H. Lyster, on 18 October 1877.¹ He died on 13 February 1909 at age 73.¹
     He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was the Rector between 1878 and 1881 at Ballyheigue, County Kerry, Ireland^G.¹ He was the Rector between 1881 and 1897 at Laracor, Trim, County Meath, Ireland^G.¹
