     He was educated at Clifton College, Clifton, Bristol, England^G.¹ He graduated from Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, in 1906 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1907 entitled to practise as a Barrister-at-Law.¹ He graduated from Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, in 1909 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He held the office of Member of the London County Council.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the East Kent Yeomanry.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹

     Sir Oliver Kerr Heywood, 5th Bt. was born on 30 June 1920.¹ He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Cecil Percival Heywood and Margaret Vere Kerr.² He married Denise Godefroi, daughter of Jocelyn William Godefroi, on 28 March 1947.¹ He died on 22 June 1992 at age 71.^1,3
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Coldstream Guards.¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1940 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Heywood, of Claremont, co. Lancaster [U.K., 1838] on 30 June 1946.¹

     Joan Margaret Heywood was born on 1 March 1919.¹ She is the daughter of Maj.-Gen. Cecil Percival Heywood and Margaret Vere Kerr.² She married John Marsden Preston, son of John Preston, on 19 December 1950.¹
     From 19 December 1950, her married name became Preston. She lived in 2003 at Boxhanger Cottage, Box, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹

     Muriel Annette Margaret Heywood was the daughter of Sir Arthur Percival Heywood, 3rd Bt. and Margaret Effie Sumner.² She married Frederick Warren Markham, son of Reverend Charles Warren Markham, on 24 January 1899.¹ She died on 26 February 1924.¹
