     Her married name became Samuel.²

     Fanny Elizabeth Benjamin was the daughter of Benjamin Benjamin and Hannah Maria Hart.¹ She married Marcus Samuel, 1st Viscount Bearsted, son of Marcus Samuel and Abigail Moss, on 19 January 1881 at Synagogue, Bayswater, London, England^G.¹ She died on 16 January 1927 at 3 Hamilton Place, London, England^G.¹ She was buried on 20 January 1927 at Jewish Cemetery, Willesden, London, England^G.¹
     From 19 January 1881, her married name became Samuel.¹ After her marriage, Fanny Elizabeth Benjamin was styled as Baroness Bearsted on 15 June 1921. After her marriage, Fanny Elizabeth Benjamin was styled as Viscountess Bearsted on 16 June 1925.

     Hannah Maria Hart is the daughter of H. Hart.¹

     Walter Horace Samuel, 2nd Viscount Bearsted was born on 13 March 1882 at London, England^G.¹ He was the son of Marcus Samuel, 1st Viscount Bearsted and Fanny Elizabeth Benjamin.¹ He married Dorothy Montefiore Micholls, daughter of Edward Montefiore Micholls and Ada Rachel Beddington, on 23 July 1908 at West End Synagogue, West End, London, England^G.² He died on 8 November 1948 at age 66.³
     He was educated between 1895 and 1901 at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was educated between 1901 and 1905 at New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the West Kent Yeomanry.¹ He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1918, where he was mentioned in despatches twice.¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Viscount Bearsted, of Maidstone, co. Kent [U.K., 1925] on 19 January 1927.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Samuel [U.K., 1903] on 19 January 1927.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Bearsted, of Maidstone, co. Kent [U.K., 1921] on 19 January 1927.¹ He was Chairman of Shell Transport and Trading Company Ltd.¹ He gained the rank of Honorary Air Commodore in the 605th County of Warwick (Bomber) Squadron, Auxiliary Air Force.¹ He was a Trustee of the National Gallery in 1936.¹ He was a Trustee of the Tate Gallery in 1938.¹

     Lt. Hon. Gerald George Samuel was born on 6 May 1886.¹ He was the son of Marcus Samuel, 1st Viscount Bearsted and Fanny Elizabeth Benjamin.¹ He died on 7 June 1917 at age 31 at Messines, Belgium^G, killed in action.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal West Kent Regiment.¹ He fought in the First World War.

     Dorothy Montefiore Micholls was the daughter of Edward Montefiore Micholls and Ada Rachel Beddington.¹ She married Walter Horace Samuel, 2nd Viscount Bearsted, son of Marcus Samuel, 1st Viscount Bearsted and Fanny Elizabeth Benjamin, on 23 July 1908 at West End Synagogue, West End, London, England^G.¹ She died on 19 December 1949.²
     From 23 July 1908, her married name became Samuel.¹ After her marriage, Dorothy Montefiore Micholls was styled as Viscountess Bearsted on 19 January 1927.
