     F. J. Steavenson was the Town Clerk at Darlington, County Durham, England^G.¹

     Annette Theresa Steavenson is the daughter of F. J. Steavenson.² She married Francis Edward Townsend, son of Edward Richard Townsend and Elizabeth Humphreys, on 25 February 1892.¹
     From 25 February 1892, her married name became Townsend.

     Lieutenant Francis Edward Steavenson Townsend was born on 7 July 1893.¹ He was the son of Francis Edward Townsend and Annette Theresa Steavenson.² He died on 30 September 1916 at age 23 at France^G, from wounds received in action.¹
     He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Durham Light Infantry.¹

     Arthur Eric Townsend was born on 3 November 1895.¹ He was the son of Francis Edward Townsend and Annette Theresa Steavenson.² He died in February 1917 at age 21, killed while flying.²
     He gained the rank of officer in the Royal Flying Corps.¹

     Hugh William Addison Townsend was born on 3 February 1897.¹ He was the son of Francis Edward Townsend and Annette Theresa Steavenson.² He died on 4 August 1902 at age 5.¹

     Margaret Annette Townsend was born in October 1911.¹ She is the daughter of Francis Edward Townsend and Annette Theresa Steavenson.²

     Reverend Arthur Humphrey Townsend was born on 6 March 1867.¹ He was the son of Edward Richard Townsend and Elizabeth Humphreys.²
     He was the Curate between 1910 and 1915 at Christ Church, Forest Hill, London, England^G.¹

     Norman Ian Townsend was born on 15 February 1869.¹ He was the son of Edward Richard Townsend and Elizabeth Humphreys.² He married Eileen Cotello Hely on 2 October 1901.¹ He died in March 1936 at age 67.¹
     He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)¹ He lived at Cork, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹

     Eileen Cotello Hely married Norman Ian Townsend, son of Edward Richard Townsend and Elizabeth Humphreys, on 2 October 1901.¹
     Her married name became Townsend.
