     William Andrew Dewar-Durie was born on 26 August 1830.¹ He was the son of Andrew Dewar and Isabella Husband.² He married Elizabeth Dewar-Durie of Craigluscar, daughter of Charles Durie of Craigluscar and Christine Ronaldson, on 15 June 1859.¹ He died on 13 October 1895 at age 65.¹

     Constance Zeila Dewar-Durie was born on 12 March 1876.¹ She was the daughter of William Andrew Dewar-Durie and Elizabeth Dewar-Durie of Craigluscar.² She married Frederick Lewis Maitland of Lindores, son of Rear-Admiral Lewis Maitland and Mary Allan, on 6 August 1896.² She died on 23 April 1960 at age 84.²
     From 6 August 1896, her married name became Maitland.

     Surgn. Lt.-Cdr. David Randolph Maitland was born on 15 February 1902.¹ He was the son of Frederick Lewis Maitland of Lindores and Constance Zeila Dewar-Durie.² He married Barbara Mary Carnegie Wemyss, daughter of Edward Henry Wemyss, on 24 November 1930.¹ He died on 3 April 1995 at age 93.¹
     He was educated at Trinity College, Glenalmond, Perthshire, Scotland^G.¹ He graduated from Edinburgh University, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G, with a Bachelor of Medicine (M.B.)¹ He was educated at Edinburgh University, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G, Bachelor of Surgery (Ch.B.)¹ He gained the rank of Surgeon Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He was awarded the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve Officers’ Decoration (V.R.D.)¹ He was appointed Fellow, Royal College of Physicians, London (F.R.C.P.)¹

     Edward Henry Wemyss lived at Kirkton, Fife, Scotland^G.¹

     Barbara Mary Carnegie Wemyss is the daughter of Edward Henry Wemyss.² She married Surgn. Lt.-Cdr. David Randolph Maitland, son of Frederick Lewis Maitland of Lindores and Constance Zeila Dewar-Durie, on 24 November 1930.¹
     From 24 November 1930, her married name became Maitland.

     David Lewis Maitland was born on 27 March 1932.¹ He was the son of Surgn. Lt.-Cdr. David Randolph Maitland and Barbara Mary Carnegie Wemyss.² He married, secondly, Jennifer Mary Davis, daughter of W. O. Davis.¹ He married, firstly, Anna Mary Smith on 29 April 1961.¹ He died on 15 May 1995 at age 63.¹

     Anna Mary Smith married David Lewis Maitland, son of Surgn. Lt.-Cdr. David Randolph Maitland and Barbara Mary Carnegie Wemyss, on 29 April 1961.¹ She died in 1968.¹
     She was ward of J. de R. Kent.¹ From 29 April 1961, her married name became Maitland.
