He was educated at Mount St. Mary’s College, Spinkhill, Sheffield, Yorkshire, EnglandG.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Derbyshire.1 He succeeded as the 25th Baron Grey, of Ruthin [E., 1325] in 1940, when the barony was called out of abeyance.1 On his death, his barony fell into abeyance between the 22nd Baroness’s sisters.1
