     Humphry Ringler Drummond-Hay was born on 7 June 1886.1 He was the son of Charles Drummond-Hay and Alena Cropley.2 He married, firstly, May Katherine Bury, daughter of Sir George J. Bury, on 17 August 1912.1 He and May Katherine Bury were divorced in 1937.1 He married, secondly, Dorothy Clare Heubach, daughter of Frederick William Heubach, on 12 November 1937.1 He died on 2 September 1965 at age 79.1
     He was a practising solicitor and barrister in 1911 at Manitoba, CanadaG.1 He was member of the legal firm of Pitblado, Hoskin, Bennest and Drummond-Hay at Winnipeg, Manitoba, CanadaG.2 He was appointed Queen’s Counsel (Q.C.)1
