     Brian Philip Bamford was born, educ Sedbergh on 29 May 1934.¹ He is the son of Wilfred Clifford Bamford and Evelyn Maude Bomford.² He married Molly Hong Siew Hun, daughter of Hong Ah Kow, on 11 November 1965.¹
     He was educated at Sedbergh School, Sedbergh, Cumbria, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of officer at Hong Kong^G in the Royal Artillery.¹ He was a manager of rubber plantations.¹ He lived in 1976 at Balan Estate, Semenyik, Selangor, Malaysia^G.¹

     Hong Ah Kow lived at Penang, Malaysia^G.¹

     Molly Hong Siew Hun is the daughter of Hong Ah Kow.² She married Brian Philip Bamford, son of Wilfred Clifford Bamford and Evelyn Maude Bomford, on 11 November 1965.¹
     From 11 November 1965, her married name became Bamford.

     John Philip Bamford was born on 26 September 1970.¹ He is the son of Brian Philip Bamford and Molly Hong Siew Hun.²

     Dorothy Eileen Bomford was born on 7 March 1905.¹ She was the daughter of George Lyndon Bomford and Helen Maude Mary Warren.² She married Captain John Marten Rush Cripps, son of John Marten Cripps, on 1 February 1934.¹ She died on 17 September 1967 at age 62, without issue.¹
     From 1 February 1934, her married name became Cripps.
