     Hon. Kathleen Mary Agnes Wheatley is the daughter of John Thomas Wheatley, Baron Wheatley.² She married Thomas Dalyell of the Binns, son of Lt.-Col. Gordon Dalyell of the Binns and Eleanor Isabel Dalyell, on 26 December 1963.¹
     She was National Trust for Scotland, Administrator of The Binns in 1972.¹ She wrote the book House of The Binns, published 1973.¹ She was member of the Historic Buildings Council for Scotland between 1975 and 1987.¹ She was member of the Royal Fine Art Commission for Scotland in 1992.¹

     Sir Gordon Wheatley Dalyell, 12th Bt. was born on 26 September 1965.¹ He is the son of Thomas Dalyell of the Binns and Hon. Kathleen Mary Agnes Wheatley.² He married Dr. Pamela Leslie.³
     He succeeded as the 12th Baronet Dalyell [N.S., 1685] on 26 January 2017.

     Moira Eleanor Dalyell was born on 25 May 1968.¹ She is the daughter of Thomas Dalyell of the Binns and Hon. Kathleen Mary Agnes Wheatley.² She married Ian Shearer.³
     Her married name became Shearer.³

     Thomas Dalyell was born in 1572.¹ He was the son of John Dalzell.¹ He married Janet Bruce, daughter of Edward Bruce, 1st Baron Bruce of Kinlosse, on 8 October 1601.¹ He died in 1642.¹
     He was also known as Thomas Dalzell.¹ He was Steward to Lord Bruce of Kinloss.¹ He purchased the estate of Binns, Linlithgowshire in 1629.¹

     Colonel Walter Shairp of Houston married Janet Menteith, daughter of James Menteith of Auldcathy and Magdalen Dalyell.¹
