     Lt.-Col. Hugh St. George Melville Addison was born on 15 June 1884.¹ He was the son of Charles Carrington Burke and Frances Philippa Addison.² He died on 16 March 1922 at age 37, unmarried.¹
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England^G.¹ He was educated at Wye Agricultural College, Wye, Kent, England^G.¹ He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.)¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Army Service Corps.¹

     Frances Constance Burke was born on 9 September 1840.¹ She was the daughter of James St. George Burke and Anne Eliza Grubbe.^2,1 She married Walter Johnson Weller Poley on 12 December 1882.¹ She died on 17 December 1888 at age 48, without issue.¹
