     Major Hugh Blomfield Nicholson was born on 13 November 1866.² He was the son of William Nicholson and Isabella Sarah Meek.^3,4 He married, firstly, Kathleen Laura Burke, daughter of Ulick John Burke and Edith Charlotte Barnardiston, on 17 December 1902.¹ He married, secondly, Eileen Dorothy Northey, daughter of Frank William Northey, on 28 February 1940.² He died on 10 December 1958 at age 92.²
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England.² He was educated at New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.² He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches twice.² He gained the rank of Major in the King’s Royal Rifle Corps.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1918.² He held the office of High Sheriff of Dorset in 1926.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Dorset.²

     Dorothy Burke was born circa 1877.¹ She was the daughter of Ulick John Burke and Edith Charlotte Barnardiston.^2,1 She died on 7 July 1963, unmarried.¹

     Rowland Henry Burke was born on 24 August 1844.¹ He was the son of James St. George Burke and Anne Eliza Grubbe.² He died on 28 June 1861 at age 16.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹

     Francis Eustace Burke was born on 8 November 1848.¹ He was the son of James St. George Burke and Anne Eliza Grubbe.^2,1 He married Mary Alice Addison, daughter of Charles Greenstreet Addison, on 16 April 1884.¹ He died on 8 January 1927 at age 78.¹
     He was educated at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Kent.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Buckinghamshire.¹

     Charles Greenstreet Addison was a practising Barrister-at-law.¹

     Mary Alice Addison was the daughter of Charles Greenstreet Addison.² She married Francis Eustace Burke, son of James St. George Burke and Anne Eliza Grubbe, on 16 April 1884.¹ She died on 10 January 1957.¹
     From 16 April 1884, her married name became Burke.

     Major John Addison Burke was born on 23 June 1885.¹ He was the son of Francis Eustace Burke and Mary Alice Addison.² He married Dorothy Garratt, daughter of Captain Frank Garratt, on 7 August 1919.¹ He died on 26 December 1945 at age 60.¹
     He was educated at Bradfield College, Reading, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the The Royal Scots.¹ He held the office of Mayor of Winchelsea, six times.¹ He was Baron of the Cinque Ports.¹ He was Land Tax Commissioner.¹

     Captain Frank Garratt died on 16 September 1886 at Pakistan^G.²
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 13th Hussars.¹

     Dorothy Garratt is the daughter of Captain Frank Garratt.² She married Major John Addison Burke, son of Francis Eustace Burke and Mary Alice Addison, on 7 August 1919.¹
     From 7 August 1919, her married name became Burke.¹
