     Hon. Lucy Spring Rice was the daughter of Hon. Stephen Edmond Spring Rice and Ellen Mary Frere.2 She married Octavius Newry Knox, son of Hon. John Henry Knox and Lady Mabella Josephine Needham, on 23 August 1866.1 She died on 10 May 1884.1
     From 23 August 1866, her married name became Knox. In 1870 she was granted the rank of baron’s daughter.2

     He was educated at Haileybury College, Haileybury, Hertfordshire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Army Service Corps.1 He fought in the First World War between 1915 and 1920.1 He was awarded the Medaille d’Honneur with swords.1
