     John Leigh was the son of Sir Piers Leigh and Cecily Bradshaw.² He married Alice Alcock, daughter of John Alcock.¹ He died in 1452.³
     His wife brought him the Manor of Ridge.¹ He held the office of Escheator of Cheshire between 1433 and 1440.³

     Alice Alcock was the daughter of John Alcock.¹ She married John Leigh, son of Sir Piers Leigh and Cecily Bradshaw.¹ She died in 1430.²

     Richard Leigh was the son of John Leigh and Alice Alcock.² He married Margery Sprencheaux, daughter of Sir Fulke Sprencheaux.³ He died in 1508.³
