     Anna Maria Cornwall was baptised in 1711.² She was the daughter of Francis Cornwall and Mary Woodhouse.² A settlement for the marriage between her and George Legh was made on 26 March 1731.¹ She died on 7 July 1741.¹
     From 26 March 1731, her married name became Legh.¹

     George Legh was born on 11 July 1703.² He was the son of Henry Legh and Letitia Brooke.³ A settlement for the marriage between him and Anna Maria Cornwall was made on 26 March 1731.¹ He died on 26 January 1780 at age 76.³
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Cheshire.¹ He lived at High Legh, Cheshire, England^G.¹ He lived at Furnivall’s Inn, England^G.¹

     Henry Cornwall Legh was born on 24 May 1743.¹ He was the son of George Legh and Anna Maria Cornwall.² He married Elizabeth Hopkinson, daughter of Robert Hopkinson, in 1761.¹ He died in March 1791 at age 47.¹
     He was educated at Wadham College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Cheshire in 1786.¹ He lived at High Legh, Cheshire, England^G.¹

     Elizabeth Hopkinson was the daughter of Robert Hopkinson.² She married Henry Cornwall Legh, son of George Legh and Anna Maria Cornwall, in 1761.¹ She died in April 1808.¹
     From 1761, her married name became Legh.

     Maud de Norley is the daughter of Adam de Norley.¹ She married Robert Leigh, son of Sir John de Leigh and Elena de Baguley.¹
     Her married name became Leigh.¹

     John Blackburne was born on 5 August 1754.² He married Anne Rodbard in 1781.³ He died on 11 April 1833 at age 78.²
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)¹ He lived at Hale Hall, Lancashire, England^G.¹

     George Cornwall Legh was born on 30 August 1804.¹ He was the son of George John Legh and Mary Blackburne.² He married Louisa Charlotte Taylor, daughter of Edward Taylor, on 5 July 1828.¹ He died on 16 June 1877 at age 72, without surviving issue.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.² He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Cheshire in 1838.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for North Cheshire between 1841 and 1847.¹ He partipicated in an ordinance between 1848 and 1868; Member of Parliament (M.P.) for North Cheshire.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Cheshire.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Cheshire.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the 2nd Royal Cheshire Militia.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Mid-Cheshire between 1868 and 1873.²
