     General John ffolliott Crofton was born on 9 October 1800.¹ He was the son of Reverend Henry Crofton and Frances ffolliott.² He married Anne Agnes Addison, daughter of John Addison, on 15 October 1845.¹ He died on 17 July 1885 at age 84.¹
     He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He was Colonel of the 6th Regiment.¹

     Anne Agnes Addison was the daughter of John Addison.¹ She married General John ffolliott Crofton, son of Reverend Henry Crofton and Frances ffolliott, on 15 October 1845.¹ She died on 14 February 1900.¹
     From 15 October 1845, her married name became Crofton.

     Reverend Addison Crofton was born on 13 July 1846.¹ He was the son of General John ffolliott Crofton and Anne Agnes Addison.² He married Mary Pilkington Hall, daughter of John Hall, on 7 August 1873.¹ He died on 12 January 1904 at age 57.¹
     He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹

     John Hall lived at Baldingstone, Lancashire, England^G.¹

     Mary Pilkington Hall was the daughter of John Hall.² She married Reverend Addison Crofton, son of General John ffolliott Crofton and Anne Agnes Addison, on 7 August 1873.¹ She died on 7 May 1903.¹
     From 7 August 1873, her married name became Crofton.

     Annie Crofton was the daughter of Reverend Addison Crofton and Mary Pilkington Hall.² She died on 28 May 1947, unmarried.¹

     Sydney d’Abzac Crofton is the daughter of Reverend Addison Crofton and Mary Pilkington Hall.² She married Lt.-Col. Michael Balfour Hutchison Ritchie, son of Reverend Robert Ritchie, on 20 June 1910.¹

     Lt.-Col. Michael Balfour Hutchison Ritchie is the son of Reverend Robert Ritchie.¹ He married Sydney d’Abzac Crofton, daughter of Reverend Addison Crofton and Mary Pilkington Hall, on 20 June 1910.¹
     He lived at Craigdhu, Scotland^G.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 6th Queen’s Own Cameron Highlanders (Territorial Army.)¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)¹

     Catherine Charlotte Taylor was the daughter of Holland Taylor.¹ She married Morgan William Crofton, son of Reverend William Crofton and Melisina Woodward.¹ She died on 13 January 1945.¹
     Her married name became Crofton.¹
