     Mary Anna Randolph Custis was born in 1808.2 She was the daughter of George Washington Parke Custis and Mary Lee Fitzhugh.1,3 She married General Robert Edward Lee, son of General Henry Lee III and Anne Hill Carter, on 30 June 1831 at Arlington House, Arlington, Virginia, U.S.A.G.1,2 She died in 1873.2
     From 30 June 1831, her married name became Lee.1
