     Kathleen Verney was born on 9 September 1883.¹ She was the daughter of Frederick William Verney and Maude Sarah Williams.² She married Lt.-Col. Frank Graham Newton, son of Richard Newton, on 10 April 1912.¹ She died on 12 March 1966 at age 82.¹
     From 10 April 1912, her married name became Newton.

     Major Michael Wogan Festing was born on 2 August 1939.¹ He is the son of Field Marshal Sir Francis Wogan Festing and Mary Cecilia Riddell.¹

     Margaret Maria Williams was the daughter of Sir John Hay-Williams, 2nd Bt. and Lady Sarah Elizabeth Pitt Amherst.^1,2 She married Sir Edmund Hope Verney, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Harry Verney, 2nd Bt. and Eliza Hope-Vere, on 14 January 1868.¹ She died on 7 October 1930.²
     She was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Law (LL.D.)¹ From 14 January 1868, her married name became Verney.

     Sir George Sangster Dunnett was born on 12 May 1907.¹ He married Margaret Rosalind Davies, daughter of David Davies, in 1938.¹
     He held the office of Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries between 1947 and 1956.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1950.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.) in 1952.¹ He was chairman of the Sugar Board between 1956 and 1970.¹ He was chairman of International Molasses in 1970.¹ He lived in 1973 at 25 Bark Place, London, England^G.¹

     Margaret Rosalind Davies is the daughter of David Davies.¹ She married Sir George Sangster Dunnett in 1938.¹
     From 1938, her married name became Dunnett.¹
