     Maj.-Gen. Sir William Fry was born on 8 September 1858.³ He was the son of Thomas Fry.¹ He married Ellen Margaret Goldie-Taubman, daughter of Sir John Senhouse Goldie-Taubman, on 13 September 1886.¹ He died on 30 March 1934 at age 75.¹
     He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1900.³ He was appointed Commander, Royal Victorian Order (C.V.O.) in 1909.³ He was Colonel of the West Yorkshire Regiment between 1912 and 1934.¹ He was Major-General of the administration of Ireland between 1916 and 1919.¹ He held the office of Lieutenant-Governor of the Isle of Man between 1919 and 1926.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.) in 1920.³ He lived in 1934 at The Old Rectory, Winkfield, Berkshire, England^G.³

     Matthew Jeremy Higgs married Louisa Margaret Lloyd-Verney, daughter of Major Peter Vivian Lloyd-Verney and Caroline Evelyn Harford, in 1993.¹

     Florence Nettle Higgs was born in 1994.¹ She is the daughter of Matthew Jeremy Higgs and Louisa Margaret Lloyd-Verney.²

     Thomas Fry lived at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G.¹

     Captain T. E. Lapage-Norris lived at Worton, Wiltshire, England^G.¹

     Thomas Richard William Lapage-Norris is the son of Captain T. E. Lapage-Norris.² He married Henrietta Nell Lloyd-Verney, daughter of Major Peter Vivian Lloyd-Verney and Caroline Evelyn Harford, in 1987.¹

     Dorothy Elma Fry was the daughter of Maj.-Gen. Sir William Fry and Ellen Margaret Goldie-Taubman.¹ She married Sir Henry Russell Hornby, 2nd Bt., son of Sir William Henry Hornby, 1st Bt. and Letitia Grace Clayton-Browne, on 14 July 1913.¹ She died on 10 May 1976.²
     From 14 July 1913, her married name became Hornby.¹

     Captain Maurice John Sarson lived at Woodgreen, Fordingbridge, Hampshire, England^G.¹

     Sir Henry Russell Hornby, 2nd Bt. was born on 12 September 1888 at Lancashire, England^G.² He was the son of Sir William Henry Hornby, 1st Bt. and Letitia Grace Clayton-Browne.^3,2 He married Dorothy Elma Fry, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Sir William Fry and Ellen Margaret Goldie-Taubman, on 14 July 1913.¹ He died on 3 January 1971 at age 82 at Blackburn, Lancashire, England^G.²
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.² He was educated at Magdalen College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.² He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Duke of Lancaster’s Own Yeomanry.² He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1919.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Lancashire in 1921.² He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Hornby, of Brookhouse, Blackburn, co. Lancaster [U.K., 1899] on 22 October 1928.⁴ On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.²
