Sir Erik Ohlson, 1st Bt. was born on 19 July 1873.1 He was the son of Anders Ohlson.3 He married Jennie Blakeley, daughter of Joseph Blakeley, on 27 September 1906.1 He died on 20 March 1934 at age 60.1
He held the office of Sheriff of Sheriff between 1913 and 1915.1 He was appointed Knight in 1915.1 He was chairman of Hessle UDC between 1915 and 1916.1 He was created 1st Baronet Ohlson, of Scarborough, North Riding, co. York [U.K.] on 24 January 1920.1 He was awarded the Chevalier, Star of Romania.1 He was Romanian and Venezuelan Consul to Hull in 1924.1

Sir Edmund Hoyle Vestey, 1st Bt. was born on 3 February 1866 at Rainford, Lancashire, England.1,3 He was the son of Samuel Vestey and Hannah Uttley.4 He married, firstly, Sarah Barker, daughter of Joseph Barker, on 15 August 1887 at Passale, New Jersey, U.S.A.1 He and Sarah Barker were divorced in 1926.1,3 He married, secondly, Ellen Soward, daughter of Arthur Franklin Soward, on 10 March 1926 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England.1,5 He died on 18 November 1953 at age 87.1

William Vestey, 1st Baron Vestey was born on 21 January 1859.1 He was the son of Samuel Vestey and Hannah Uttley.1,3 He married, firstly, Sarah Ellis, daughter of George Ellis, on 22 March 1882.1 He married, secondly, Evelyn Brodstone, daughter of Hans Brodstone and Mathilde Emelie (?), on 9 August 1924.1 He died on 10 December 1940 at age 81.1
He was educated at Liverpool Institute, Liverpool, Lancashire, EnglandG.1 He was created 1st Baronet Vestey, of Kingswood, co. Surrey [U.K.] on 21 June 1913.1 He was director of Union Cold Storage Comppany.1 He was head of the Blue Star Line.1 He was created 1st Baron Vestey, of Kingswood, co.
