     Piers Raymond Courage was born in June 1942 at Colchester, Essex, EnglandG.3,4 He was the son of Richard Hubert Courage and Jean Elizabeth Agnes Watson.5,4 He married Lady Sarah-Marguerite Curzon, daughter of Francis Richard Henry Penn Curzon, 5th Earl Howe and Sybil Boyter Johnson, on 29 March 1966.5 He died on 21 June 1970 at Zandvoort, The NetherlandsG, killed in a motor accident.5
     He was educated in September 1950 at St. Peter’s School, Seaford, Sussex, England.4 He was educated between 1955 and 1960 at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.4
