     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Gordonstoun School, Elgin, Morayshire, Scotland^G.¹ He gained the rank of Sergeant in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserves.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He was with Hunting Aerosurveys between 1947 and 1949.¹ He was with the Directorate of Colonial Surveys between 1951 and 1953.¹ He was with Soil Mechanics Ltd between 1953 and 1958.¹ He graduated from Open University, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) (Honours.)¹ He was appointed Fellow, Royal Geographical Society (F.R.G.S.) in 1956.¹ He held the office of Member of the London County Council between 1958 and 1965.¹ He held the office of Member of the Greater London Council between 1965 and 1978.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Gainford, of Headlam in the County of Durham [U.K., 1917] on 23 September 1971.¹ He lived in 2003 at Swallowfield, 1 Dedmere Court, Marlow, Buckinghamshire, England^G.¹

     Margaret Theophilia Radcliffe Tyndale was born on 28 January 1925 at Kensington, London, England.² She was the daughter of Henry Edmund Guise Tyndale and Ruth Isabel Walcott Radcliffe.¹ She married Joseph Edward Pease, 3rd Baron Gainford, son of Joseph Pease, 2nd Baron Gainford and Veronica Margaret Noble, on 21 March 1953.¹ She died on 14 December 2010 at age 85 at Scotland.²
     From 21 March 1953, her married name became Pease.¹ After her marriage, Margaret Theophilia Radcliffe Tyndale was styled as Baroness Gainford on 23 September 1971.

     Henry Edmund Guise Tyndale married Ruth Isabel Walcott Radcliffe, daughter of Alexander Nelson Radcliffe and Isabel Grace Henderson.¹
     He lived at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England^G.¹

     Ruth Isabel Walcott Radcliffe is the daughter of Alexander Nelson Radcliffe and Isabel Grace Henderson.^1,2 She married Henry Edmund Guise Tyndale.¹
     Her married name became Tyndale.¹

     Alexander Nelson Radcliffe was born in 1857.² He was the son of John Alexander Radcliffe. He married Isabel Grace Henderson, daughter of Lt.-Col. Sir Edmund Yeamans Walcott Henderson and Maria Hindle, on 6 June 1884.² He died on 26 March 1944.²

     Hon. Joanna Ruth Miriam Pease was born on 22 August 1959.¹ She is the daughter of Joseph Edward Pease, 3rd Baron Gainford and Margaret Theophilia Radcliffe Tyndale.¹

     Hon. Virginia Clare Margaret Pease was born on 13 October 1960.¹ She is the daughter of Joseph Edward Pease, 3rd Baron Gainford and Margaret Theophilia Radcliffe Tyndale.¹

     George Pease, 4th Baron Gainford was born on 20 April 1926.¹ He was the son of Joseph Pease, 2nd Baron Gainford and Veronica Margaret Noble.¹ He married Flora Daphne Dyce-Sharp, daughter of Dr. Neville Alexander Dyce-Sharp and Flora Macdonald, on 18 January 1958.¹ He died on 12 March 2022 at age 95.²
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the Second World War between 1944 and 1945, with the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve.¹ He graduated with a Diploma of Town Planning (Dip.T.P.)¹ He graduated with a Diploma of Architecture (Dip.Arch.)¹ He was registered as a Associate, Royal Institute of British Architects (A.R.I.B.A.)¹ He was registered as a Associate Member, Town Planning Institute (A.M.T.P.I.)¹ He was County Planning Officer for Ross and Cromarty.¹ He lived in 2003 at Naemoor Gardens, Rumbling Bridge, Ross-shire, Scotland^G.¹ He succeeded as the 4th Baron Gainford, of Headlam in the County of Durham [U.K., 1917] on 4 April 2013.

     Flora Daphne Dyce-Sharp was born on 23 November 1924.^2,3 She was the daughter of Dr. Neville Alexander Dyce-Sharp and Flora Macdonald.^1,3 She married George Pease, 4th Baron Gainford, son of Joseph Pease, 2nd Baron Gainford and Veronica Margaret Noble, on 18 January 1958.¹ She died on 3 December 2010 at age 86.²
     From 18 January 1958, her married name became Pease.¹

     Dr. Neville Alexander Dyce-Sharp was born on 21 December 1884.² He married Flora Macdonald, daughter of Allan Reginald Macdonald, 10th of Belfinlay and 3rd of Waternish and Edith Bayne, on 22 November 1922.² He died on 27 October 1942 at age 57, at sea, on the way from West Africa to England, on board SS. Stentor which was torpedoed.²
     He was educated at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.¹ He was educated at King’s College London, London, England.²
