Sir Arthur Herbert Dyke Acland, 9th/13th Bt. and Alice Sophia Cunningham.¹ He married, firstly, Eleanor Margaret Cropper, daughter of Charles James Cropper and Hon. Edith Emily Holland, on 31 August 1905.¹ He married, secondly, Constance Dudley, daughter of George Denis Darville Dudley, on 10 December 1937.¹ He died on 9 June 1939 at age 65.¹
     He was Junior Examiner of the Education Department between 1900 and 1903.¹ He held the office of Parliamentary Private Secretary between 1906 and 1908, to the Secretary of State for War.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Richmond, Yorkshire between 1906 and 1910.¹ He held the office of Finance Secretary of the Treasury between 1908 and 1911.¹ He was a member of the Army Council between 1908 and 1911.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Cambourne between 1910 and 1922.¹ He held the office of Under-Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs between 1911 and 1915.¹ He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1915.¹ He held the office of Finance Secretary of the Treasury in 1915.¹ He held the office of Parliamentary Secretary for the Board of Agriculture and Fisheries from 1915 to 1916.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Devon.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the North Riding, Yorkshire.¹ He was a member of the Senate of London University.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Devon.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Tiverton from 1923 to 1924.¹ He succeeded as the 10th Baronet Acland, of Columb-John, Devon [E., 1678] on 9 October 1926.¹ He succeeded as the 14th Baronet Acland, of Columb-John, Devon [E., 1644] on 9 October 1926.³ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for North Cornwall in 1932.¹

     Arthur Geoffrey Dyke Acland was born on 17 May 1908.¹ He was the son of Sir Francis Dyke Acland, 10th/14th Bt. and Eleanor Margaret Cropper.¹ He married Winifred Julian Dorothy Fothergill, daughter of Lt.-Col. Sydney Roden Fothergill and Winifred Gladstone, on 1 April 1932.¹ He died on 14 September 1964 at age 56.¹
     He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England^G.¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1930 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Border Regiment.¹ He adopted Martin Hilary Dyke Acland.

     Winifred Julian Dorothy Fothergill is the daughter of Lt.-Col. Sydney Roden Fothergill and Winifred Gladstone.^1,2 She married Arthur Geoffrey Dyke Acland, son of Sir Francis Dyke Acland, 10th/14th Bt. and Eleanor Margaret Cropper, on 1 April 1932.¹
     Her married name became Acland. She adopted Martin Hilary Dyke Acland.

     Lt.-Col. Sydney Roden Fothergill married Winifred Gladstone, daughter of Samuel Steuart Gladstone of Capenoch and Sophia Musgrave.² He died in 1943.²
     He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He lived at Lowbridge, Westmorland, England^G.¹

     Cuthbert Charles Dyke Acland was born on 30 May 1875.¹ He was the son of Rt. Hon. Sir Arthur Herbert Dyke Acland, 9th/13th Bt. and Alice Sophia Cunningham.¹ He died on 14 April 1882 at age 6.¹

     Mabel Alice Acland was born on 17 April 1891.¹ She was the daughter of Rt. Hon. Sir Arthur Herbert Dyke Acland, 9th/13th Bt. and Alice Sophia Cunningham.¹ She married Sir Frederick Carl Bovenschen, son of Carl Bovenschen, on 1 February 1919.¹ She died on 13 February 1975 at age 83.¹
     Her married name became Bovenschen.

     Constance Dudley was the daughter of George Denis Darville Dudley.¹ She married Sir Francis Dyke Acland, 10th/14th Bt., son of Rt. Hon. Sir Arthur Herbert Dyke Acland, 9th/13th Bt. and Alice Sophia Cunningham, on 10 December 1937.¹ She died on 12 October 1940.¹
     Her married name became Acland.

     George Denis Darville Dudley lived at Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹

     Eleanor Margaret Cropper was the daughter of Charles James Cropper and Hon. Edith Emily Holland.¹ She married Sir Francis Dyke Acland, 10th/14th Bt., son of Rt. Hon. Sir Arthur Herbert Dyke Acland, 9th/13th Bt. and Alice Sophia Cunningham, on 31 August 1905.¹ She died on 12 December 1933.¹
