Sir Peter John Smithson Hewett, 6th Bt. was born on 27 June 1931.1 He was the son of Sir John George Hewett, 5th Bt. and Yuilleen Maude Smithson.2 He married Jennifer Ann Cooper Jones, daughter of Emrys Thomas Jones, on 14 February 1958.1 He died on 1 June 2001 at age 69.1
He was educated at Bradfield College, Bradfield, Reading, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He graduated from Jesus College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, in 1953 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He was admitted to Gray’s Inn in 1954 entitled to practise as a barrister.1 He was a practising Advocate.1 He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Hewett, of Nether Seale, co. Leicester [U.K., 1813] in 1990.1 He held the office of Judge of the High Court [Kenya] in 2000.1
