     Edith Frances Trench was born on 22 January 1879 at Clay Hill, Amelia County, Virginia, U.S.A.^1,2 She was the daughter of Charles Stewart Trench and Ellen Adelaide Marryat.¹ She died on 7 November 1967 at age 88.² She was buried at Mount Royal Cemetery, Montreal, Quebec, Canada.²
     She emigrated to Canada arriving on 1898.² She was a registered nurse.² She was owner of a private hospital between 1928 and 1945 at The Home Hospital, Saint-Lambert, Quebec, Canada.²

     Nora Creina Trench was born on 17 November 1881.¹ She was the daughter of Charles Stewart Trench and Ellen Adelaide Marryat.¹ She married Hans Emil Fietz, son of Ferdinand Emil Fietz, on 3 March 1915.¹ She died on 27 May 1964 at age 82.¹
     From 3 March 1915, her married name became Fietz.¹
