     Hon. Thomas Lodge Murray-Prior was born on 13 November 1819 at Wells, Somerset, England^G.³ He was the son of Major Thomas Murray-Prior and Elizabeth Catherine Skynner.³ He married, firstly, Matilda Harpur on 3 September 1846 at Cecil Hills, Liverpool, Lancashire, England^G.³ He married, secondly, Norah Clarina Barton on 18 December 1872 at Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.^3,4 He died on 31 December 1892 at age 73 at Whytecliffe, Queensland, Australia.⁴
